Measures of central tendency statistics ka important concept hai jo data set ke central value ko represent karta hai. Ismein mainly three types hote hain: mean, median, aur mode. Inka use data ko summarize karne ke liye hota hai.
Mean ko commonly average bhi kaha jata hai. Isko calculate karne ka formula hai: Sum of all observations divided by number of observations. For example, agar hamare paas numbers 10, 20, 30 hain, toh mean = (10+20+30)/3 = 20. Mean sensitive hota hai extreme values ke liye.
Median data set ka middle value hota hai. Isko find karne ke liye, pehle data ko ascending order mein arrange karte hain. Agar odd number of observations hai, toh median middle value hota hai. Agar even number hai, toh do middle values ka average hota hai. Example: Numbers 5, 1, 3 ko arrange karte hain: 1,3,5. Median = 3.
Mode wo value hai jo data set mein sabse zyada baar repeat hoti hai. Agar koi value repeat nahi hoti, toh mode nahi hota. Example: Numbers 2,4,4,6,7 mein mode = 4, kyunki 4 do baar aaya hai.
Ab hum measures of central tendency chapter ke kuch important questions ke solutions dekhenge. Ye solutions CBSE guidelines ke according hain.
Solution: Pehle sum of observations nikalte hain: 5+10+15+20+25 = 75. Number of observations = 5. Toh mean = 75/5 = 15. Is tarah, mean 15 aaya.
Solution: Sabse pehle data ko ascending order mein arrange karte hain: 3,7,9,12,15. Number of observations = 5 (odd). Middle value third observation hai, which is 9. Toh median = 9.
Solution: Yahan, 8 three times aaya hai, 6 two times, aur baaki values ek baar. Toh most frequent value 8 hai. Isliye mode = 8.
Students ke liye kuch extra examples diye ja rahe hain taki unki concepts clear ho.
Mean ka formula: Σx/n, where Σx sum of observations hai aur n number of observations hai. Median ke liye, data ko always order mein lana important hai. Mode ke liye, frequency count karna zaroori hai. In concepts ko aap examples se practice karke aasani se samajh sakte hain.
Measures of central tendency Class 11 Economics ka fundamental topic hai. NCERT solutions se aap in concepts ko deeply understand kar sakte hain aur exams ki taiyari achhe se kar sakte hain. Regularly practice karte rahe aur doubts clear kare.
