Chapter 1: Chemical Reactions and Equations

Is chapter me, hum different types of chemical reactions aur unko balance karne ke bare me padhenge. NCERT Exemplar problems ke solutions neeche diye gaye hain.

Exemplar Problem 1.1

Question: Sodium hydroxide aur hydrochloric acid ki reaction se kya produce hota hai?

Solution: Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) aur hydrochloric acid (HCl) ki reaction se sodium chloride (NaCl) aur water (H2O) banta hai. Yeh ek neutralization reaction hai. Equation: NaOH + HCl → NaCl + H2O.

Exemplar Problem 1.2

Question: Iron filings ko copper sulphate solution me dalne par kya reaction hoti hai?

Solution: Iron (Fe) copper sulphate (CuSO4) se copper (Cu) displace karta hai, jisse iron sulphate (FeSO4) aur copper banta hai. Equation: Fe + CuSO4 → FeSO4 + Cu. Yeh displacement reaction hai.

Chapter 2: Acids, Bases and Salts

Is chapter me, acids, bases, aur salts ke properties, uses, aur reactions cover kiye gaye hain. Kuch important exemplar problems ke solutions yahan hain.

Exemplar Problem 2.1

Question: pH scale kya hai aur yeh kaise measure kiya jata hai?

Solution: pH scale acidity ya basicity ko measure karta hai, range 0 se 14 tak. Acidic solutions ka pH 7 se kam hota hai, basic ka 7 se zyada. Isko pH paper ya pH meter se measure karte hain.

Exemplar Problem 2.2

Question: Washing soda aur baking soda me kya difference hai?

Solution: Washing soda (Na2CO3.10H2O) hard water softening aur cleaning ke liye use hota hai. Baking soda (NaHCO3) cooking me aur acidity relief ke liye use hota hai.

Chapter 3: Metals and Non-metals

Metals aur non-metals ke physical aur chemical properties, reactivity series, aur extraction processes is chapter me aate hain.

Exemplar Problem 3.1

Question: Reactivity series kya hai? Metals ki reactivity ka order batayein.

Solution: Reactivity series metals ki reactivity ka order batati hai. Top par most reactive metals hain jaise potassium (K), sodium (Na). Bottom par least reactive hain jaise gold (Au), silver (Ag).

Exemplar Problem 3.2

Question: Iron ko rust se kaise protect kiya jata hai?

Solution: Iron ko rust se protect karne ke liye painting, galvanizing, ya alloying ki jati hai. Galvanizing me zinc coating lagayi jati hai.

Chapter 10: Light – Reflection and Refraction

Is chapter me, light ke behavior, reflection, refraction, lenses, aur mirrors ke bare me padha jata hai. Exemplar problems ke solutions important hain.

Exemplar Problem 10.1

Question: Concave mirror ka focal length kaise find karte hain?

Solution: Concave mirror ka focal length mirror se focus point tak ki distance hoti hai. Experimentally, object ko different positions par rakhkar image banate hain aur formula use karte hain.

Exemplar Problem 10.2

Question: Refractive index kya hai? Iska formula batayein.

Solution: Refractive index medium me light ki speed ko vacuum ki speed se divide karke nikala jata hai. Formula: n = c/v, jahan c vacuum me light ki speed hai aur v medium me speed hai.

In solutions se aapko Class 10 Science NCERT Exemplar ke concepts clear karne me help milegi. Regular practice se exam performance improve hoti hai.
