Is chapter mein Harivansh Rai Bachchan ki teen prasiddh kavitaon ka adhyayan karte hain. Bachchan ji ka likha 'Madhushala' kavya-sangrah Hindi sahitya ka ek milestone maana jaata hai. Yahan hum unke kavya ke mool bhav, shaili aur prateekon ko samjhenge.
Harivansh Rai Bachchan (1907-2003) Hindi sahitya ke mukhya kavi the. Unki 'Madhushala' (1935) ne unhe bahut prasiddhi di. Woh 'Nayi Kavita' andolan ke pramukh haathi the. Unki kavitaon mein optimism, vyangya aur jeevan ke prashnon ka samavesh hota hai.

Is kavita mein kavi apna parichay dete hain. Woh kehte hain ki woh kewal ek sadharan insaan hain, jo jeevan ke sangharsh aur anand dono ko jee chuka hai. Ye kavita simplicity aur humility par bhari hai. Kavi kahte hain, "Main prem ka bhookha, gyan ka pyaasa, aur sirf itna hi jaanta hoon."
Yeh ek lyrical poem hai jo jeevan ke chalakta srot ka prateek hai. Isme Nadi (river) ko central image ke roop mein pesh kiya gaya hai. Nadi ka bahna jeevan ke pravah ka prateek hai - jo kabhi tez, kabhi dheema, kabhi kathinaiyon se takrata hai, lekin hamesha aage badhta hai. Ye kavita hope aur continuity ka sandesh deti hai.

Atma Parichay kavita ek aisi rachna hai jo manushya ke man ke andar ki uljhan ko shabdon mein dhal deti hai. Yeh humein sikhati hai ki asli bal to apni kamiyon ko pehchanne aur unhe accept karne mein hai.
